I would recommend the Hobbico Avistar.
If you have or can get either a 46FX or GS45 then you will have a great combination.

I would go with the avistar too. Have it and love it.

If your local hobby shop doesn't have what you're looking for, go to Tower Hobbies (online). They have dozens of trainers.

I would recommend a Global RightFlyer 60/ OS 70, or Magnum 80 FS. Great flying plane, and will take you to an intermediate level.

I bought and have flown my .46 tower hobbies 40 MKII trainer and love it. I am a new guy with no training from any one and I have had a great time with this plane. Time for my 2nd plane now.

The Global Right Fyer 60 will not only take you to the begining of aerobatics, it will have you doing aerobatics in short order. Very honest plane. Easily visible because of its size, semi-symetrical airfoil, and little dihedral. It will fly beautiful loops, slow rolls, stall turns, Immelmans, Cubans...you get the point. It will even spin, although not flat, if pushed. I have a OS 70 in mine, and it grooves real good. It won't brake the bank either. It is a complete ARF. You just supply the radio gear and engine of your choice.
