RE: flight sims
as far as I know ...there is nothing out there, I use the Great planes G2 which runs about 199.00...... but you can pick up the lite version for less. I love the program.

I have the lite version, it is good practice for a beginner like me and as he said, it's cheaper.[sm=idea.gif]

RE: flight sims
FMS is a decent freebie! You can't do a lot of fancy hovering with it, but for learning how the sticks work, expecially when flying towards yourself and things get backwards, it's a good tool. It's not RealFlight G2, but then, it doesn't cost $200 either. I should post the 700 planes I have for it online. They aren't copyrited right? It's fun flying the X-wing from star wars, or Mary Poppins and such...:) - Joe

Yep. FMS is decent for learning to use the sticks. As has been said, not like Real Flight, but a LOT cheaper! ;)
WIth FMS, you CAN use your keyboard for control, and maybe a joystick. But your best bet would be to get a transmitter and an interface to cennect it to your PC. http://www.mattclement.freeservers.com/fms/fms.html ($22 I think.) Good luck, Dennis- |
