Getting Started in Autogyros

I've been flying R/C for a couple of years and want to give autogyros a try but don't know where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start? What are some good models/kits available? Thanks.

Under the Heli section is an autogyros discussion forum. :D

Lots of neat info about them. plenty of help there.[8D]

Somewhere there are plans for a "conversion kit" to put on a typical .40 size trainer...or a "Stick clone." (a cheap way to experiment with one...) someone in that forum will know where to look for the plans.

Hi ya'll,
You know, in most phases of modeling there are specific "trainers",
designs developed to make it as easy as possible to get started.
UNFORTUNATELY it seems model autogyros required considerable effort
to diagnois and determine what was needed. So much time was envolved
in that effort no one had the ability to consider the trainer need.
Fortunately the effort has finally been made and a how to will soon be available,
Model Airplane News has the "Giro Plane" trainer effort and is preparing
to publish it. It is expected this will be what is needed.
When will it be? Check by asking the following> [email protected]
Good kuck, have fun, enjoy!
