RE: Krylon vs rustolem
Both are enamels, I cannot see why not. I have used Rustolium on my field box and other support equipment. It has worked well for me.

RE: Krylon vs rustolem
Krylon had the gloss light grey I wanted for my field box, and it really sprays nicely... Tested Krylon with a 18% nitro synthetic and castor fuel... was NOT fuel proof... :(
Sprayed Polyurethane over the Krylon...... HTH Jim |
RE: Krylon vs rustolem
Rustoleum, the black & white (other colours are 'rumoured to be fuel proof) Have something in the paint, so when it dries, it becomes fuel proof..
Krylon is made, and made in such a way that it can be easiely cleaned [off], seeing that it is also teh paint of choice for Grafiti artists.. |
RE: Krylon vs rustolem
hmm.....really? never would have guessed that that would be what they use in there little missions to cause trouble.....:D
i just went to Canadian Tire and bought a little tool box that i use for a field box, and i didn't have to do a thing to get that shiny finish.....:D |
