Both are enamels, I cannot see why not. I have used Rustolium on my field box and other support equipment. It has worked well for me.

Krylon had the gloss light grey I wanted for my field box, and it really sprays nicely... Tested Krylon with a 18% nitro synthetic and castor fuel... was NOT fuel proof... :(

Sprayed Polyurethane over the Krylon......

Rustoleum, the black & white (other colours are 'rumoured to be fuel proof) Have something in the paint, so when it dries, it becomes fuel proof..

Krylon is made, and made in such a way that it can be easiely cleaned [off], seeing that it is also teh paint of choice for Grafiti artists..

hmm.....really? never would have guessed that that would be what they use in there little missions to cause trouble.....:D

i just went to Canadian Tire and bought a little tool box that i use for a field box, and i didn't have to do a thing to get that shiny finish.....:D
