Could be a number of things, but the first thing that comes to mind is interference... CB Radio, another RC plane, RC car maybe.

Its also possible you got nto a stall-spin situation and attempting corrections kept snapping it into opposing direction spins.

It drives you nuts if you don't know how to see this phenomenon and realise the only thing you want to do is point the nose STRAIGHT down, gain airspeed and pull out SMOOTHLY. (pull it hard and it snaps back into the spin and you usually don't have room for a second recovery attempt.)

Do NOT attempt to fly glow planes in a baseball field. If you don't have ten or more acres out in the sticks, with no houses around, stick to small electrics.

I'd suggest a GWS Piper Cub or a GWS Tiger Moth. Both decent park flyers at a reasonable price.

If you want to get into glow planes, find a local club and go check things out before you buy anything.

The AMA site has a club locater. Plug in your Zip Code.

Good luck, have fun, but fly safe.
