Will it cause interference if I would use a zip tie to gather up all loose servo wires inside my plane, so they are not flopping around loose?

No, it will not cause a problem.

You could use masking tape or electrical tape, which is softer and will not cause chaffing to the insulator. You could tape the wire bundle to the fuse wall.

Taping to the wall. Good idea. I want to stick in a down plane locator also but the Avistar is tight on room. But thanks for info.

Don't bundle the antenna wire with the servo wires, though.

I have already have the antenna routed out the back using a servo gromet through the fus, and rubber band pinned to the tail. I just hope my cats dont decide to take up the ban joe with it lol. But I did a good one though. I got my computer radio second have, and the fellow I got it from flew with the throttle on the right instead of on the left. He switched the rachet, but not the program inside of the tx. I was all over Futaba's web site looking for an answer to that one. Its not spelled out clear in the manual to turn on the radio with both mode buttons pushed to get to the mod switch to change that function. Silly me.

You did use a strain relief on the antenna wire before you fed it out the fuse, right? Just a cut off piece of servo horn works fine, feed the antenna in one hole and out an adjacent hole. Same deal you would use for the rudder end of the wire....

You flying ARF avistar? Mine was ARF, but has grown S-T GS 40, will hopefully get first flight on it tomorow. Great plane.... I'm almost ready to turn up my alierons to full.

Yes it is the ARF. I think you will like the GS 40. I bought one, but returned it, I was going to put it in a FuntanaS. But I opted for an OS 61, then picked up the Avistar for a skills refresher, so then I exchanged the 61 for the 46 AX. The LA I dont like because its not rebuildable. But next the next engine I buy is going to be a Mecoah. I have an old KB 40 out in my building that had one tank of gas ran through 15 years ago. I might tear it down and see if its junk first, if it is, I'll just do the trade in. Good luck with your flight tomorrow. Hopefully about 2 more weeks and I'll have mine out and in the air.
