3rd or 4th plane recommendation

As my company has finally decided on giving the grunts a bonus, I am looking for another plane. I currently have:

Superstar 40 ARF trainer
UltraStick 40 ARF

and am building a Goldberg Tiger 2 from a kit.

I just don't know where to go now. I am more of a fun fly or warbird type, as opposed to pattern. And I think that I would like to go with a 60 sized plane, mainly so I can see it easier. Or finally get my prescription updated for my glasses :D

I am not trying to start a religious type discussion, just trying to get some ideas. Whatever I decide on will be purchased at the LHS, since they beat Tower Hobbies prices and give a club discount.

Thank you in advance for your input!

If you like warbirds, and a 60 size is what you're after, may I recommend the Top Flite Gold Edition P-51?

World Models Super Stunts 40. It's a 60-size stick-type ARF that flies with a .46 and has a 40-size price.

My vote is for the Top Flite Gold P-39. Flys great and looks differrent at the field.

60 size means wingspan around 60in?
Sorry for the dummy question.

How about a Skyshark Hellcat. Nice plane that handles well. Or hows about a Skyshark Val or Stuka. No retracts to deal with. A GP Stuka ARF might also do the trick. And last but not least for something completely different, a SIG Hog Bipe. Just a few freindly suggestions.

Nilo, that's a BEAUTIFUL airplane! Who makes that? I always thought the T-27 was pretty sweet lookin' and I've never seen an RC version before. I WANT IT!! lol

Another plane you may try is the TopFlite P-40 Warhawk kit... it is pretty nice and doesn't seem to be as common as the P-51 and others.

That is one of my concerns. It seems to me (as a relative newcomer to the hobby) that EVERYONE has a P-51. I like the P-40, but am looking more at Navy planes. Like the Corsair or Hellcat. Anyone have the Hanger9 Corsair? I have searched the forums about the Corsair, and the only thing I found was complaints about the retracts.

I don't think I will get a 4 star, as I am building a Tiger 2.

I knew that at Aero-FZD this model was $1300 plus shipping[X(], but the link I have doesn't work anymore and couldn't find one link in the internet that works. Are they out of business?
At http://www.ardmodels.com/tucanolr.html the kit is $650 for 1/5 scale
Plans at http://www.donsmithplans.com/

My I bought in Brazil for $282 plus $140 to bring it here:D. The box is huge and the regular airlines doesn't allow it as bagage and would charge $500 to send here as cargo. I'm using a moving company to bring as my personal stuff, since a brazilian citizen, by ship for $140.
But the companies in Brazil that produces the model doesn't ship international. Sorry![:o]

There are couple threats here about the tucano and a better search could reveal other companies in US that I'm not aware of.

So, you're looking for a 60 sized fun fly warbird?

Well, many fun fly's are profile so we could look for a profile warbird. The GP P-38 springs to mind, you could use two .30 engines making it a .60 size :):D
