Now you are good if you took that pic while doing a low past! :)

RE: Low pass

You converted that into a tail dragger or are my eyes failing me?

Technito20 03-23-2004 09:37 PM

RE: Low pass

I believe it's just front wheel steering like most trainers. Or else it's my eyes too.

RE: Low pass

I only see two wheels. Ive never see inline landingear before:D

RE: Low pass

looks like he is missing the right side back wheel ..lmao

Technito20 03-23-2004 09:56 PM

RE: Low pass

*Begins to think* Maybe it is a tail dragger. Or maybe he has perfectly good balance on two wheels =D

Good now inverted.

and i wouldn't recommend it either... with that dihedral... it's not meant to stay inverted!

those wheels look wierd in the first pic.

RE: Low pass

The left wheel (left, in the airplane) looks fine, the right one looks like it's wire is swept back, but it is the branches in the background. Look really careful, and you will see it's wire.

I have the Happy Fly too and it has almost zero dihedral, maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought less dihedral was best for inverted.

RE: Low pass

No.. you're right, bear dude, there doesn't seem to be a lot of dihedral in the plane. My basic assumption with trainers is that they all have ample dihedral! Looks like I'm wrong... In that case, Neil, where's your low pass inverted? :-)
