Phaeton 90
Who could tell me something about this plane?
Thanks Tim |
RE: Phaeton 90
There were a couple of recent threads about the Phaetons, both the 90 and the Phaeton II.
A search should turn up info, but they're good flying planes. They also require good building skills. Oh, try doing the search in the "kit" forum. Dennis- |

RE: Phaeton 90
My old Pheaton 90 is one of my favorite planes, now pushing 12+ years old with the last 7 years behind a Quadra 72CC gasoline engine. It is a blast to fly once set up. As all bipes, it required a little fine tuning initially to get the best incidence set up. Mine suits me best with the upper wing at -1.5 degrees, lower and stab at zero and engine 5 degrees down and about 3 degrees right thrust. Just a minor change in the upper wing incidence can turn it from a doggy flier to a smooth performer. Try to set yours up so you can easily make changes in upper wing incidence then just experiment a bit.
