RE: Lanier Explorer 40 Trainer ARF
I have to disagree about buying a lower-priced 4-channel radio. I started out on a "cheaper, non-computer" 4 channel radio and wished I had the option of the 6EXA at that time. Since Scuby is willing to spend $150ish on a radio system, I say put in another $20 for the 6EXA and you'll get a radio for now and future use. A person that stays in this hobby is more likely to buy another plane and/or engine before radio, so put your money in your radio now.
The features of a computer radio help you to be a better pilot with proper training from an experienced trainer. |
RE: Lanier Explorer 40 Trainer ARF
Thank you for the advice, everyone. I must say, it is a bit contradictory, but I think I'm going to play it safe and get something "better" than normal than something below; I don't want to be disappointed with any aspect, and I definitely intend to be immersed in this hobby for many, many years to come.
