need help

hello everyone,

i'm a beginner and i just got my first plane as a gift,it's a real beginner model
but you have to start somewhere, the plane is an american eagle by cox,as i put it together
i noticed that the propellers were angled down toward the ground,is this normal or a factory
defect,i haven't flown it yet but it seems like it would nose dive.

any help would be appreciated.

The propellers being angled down some is normal.

How much is normal for that model I do not know... but I would expect its OK.

I'm not an expert but i think it's ok,i have a alpha 60 and the engine is mounted so it's tilted towards the ground also.

most planes will benifit from a little right thrust and down thrust. Just a few degrees (1-4) is all it takes help counteract the torque created by the engine.
