4th Flight landing!

Well I got home from school this afternoon, and the wind was dead, so I loaded up me plane, and headed down to the field.

This last sunday I started my lessons, and managed to get 3 flights in. On the 3rd, I took off, and today I managed, after the 2nd attempt, I landed. My instructor never had to take control the whole flight. He said over the hundreds of people he trained, he had only 1 other like me. I give it a couple more flights, and I will be soloing. :SIGH: Can't wait!!!!

Just had to tell someone! :)

Have you managed to wipe the grin off your face yet?

Congrats.... and may your <ahem> controlled landings always equal your takeoffs....

Good for you! NOW, keep up the good work and have fun. Don't become over confident just yet though...wait till you have at least 5 flights in.;)

Yep, thats how I crashed my first trainer.
I thought that I can fly very good and became overconfident. I hear that all the time. You do not crash that much when you learn, but when start thinking that you are a great pilot you start doing stupid things and crash.

Keep it simple!!!

Atta Boy...

Remember though, they're all landings in some way or another. Even when it takes 6 people to carry back the carnage :D Keep up the good work, it's a great hobby isn't it?
