What is a torque roll?

I will first defined 3D flying. Many people will give you many definitions but the one that is the most accurate is flying a fixed wing aircraft in the stalled condition. Basically the airplane is no longer flying via normal lifting forces but using the thrust of the engine over highly deflected control surfaces to get the desired effect. (You can do 3D in a helo as well)

A torque roll is a vertical 3D maneuver where the thrust of the engine matches the weight of the plane so that the plane hovers. The torque of the engine causes the plane to spin along its longitudinal axis (nose to tail). Hence a roll due to engine torque.... Torque Roll

Got It

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I have never had 3D defined so simply either. None of these terms even existed when I used to fly long ago (I am just getting back into the hobby). By the way, thanks for the great link.
