Rx/Tx question

Can any Rx work with any Tx as long as the freq is the same?

another words, can a JR Rx on chan 52 work with my Futaba Tx on chan 52?

RE: Rx/Tx question

JR and Futaba are not compatible in any way. Hitech is compatible with JR and Futaba in certain instances. Airtronics and JR are compatible. You'll have to get a Hitech or Futaba Rx to match your Tx.

RE: Rx/Tx question

Transmitters are classified as either negative shift or positive shift. You have to get a receiver to match the transmitter. HiTech makes a select shift RX to match any transmitter, but otherwise you need to match them correctly.

RE: Rx/Tx question

Yup it's JR and Airtronics, and then there is the rest of the world. Just get a reciever that is copatible with your transmitter.
