next plane?

The only problem is, its usually pretty windy where i live, and this thing is seriosly hard to control when its windy. I have no problems controlling it when its not windy, but when it is, a gust of wind or turbulance has just flipped the plane over and ive nose dived! (one good thing - its REALLY strong!!)

I am looking for another plane, something that is larger/heavier so isnt affected by wind as much, something stable and relatively easy to fly ( im technically still a beginner to flying planes ). I think it has to be pretty strong, i dont think i could handle crashing it and having to buy a new one!!

Any suggestions ?

Just how windy is it? Typical e power planes don't have the power, wing type, or porop size to handle brisk winds. Have you considered joining a club and moving up to glow powered planes? I have some glow powered planes that can handle 20-30 km winds. I don't suggest this for a beginner but once you have the experience and plane that can handle it, its a lot of fun! :D

Im confident with glow engines, ive had a glow engine traxxas t-maxx for a while now!

MOST electrics have difficulty with wind, especially the smaller, "park flyer" size. There are electrics that will handle wind, but they are not cheap, and most are not that easy to fly (usually 3D, pattern or speed types).

If your wind is much over 10 mph (6 kph), do as Fastsky suggests and go with a glow plane, at least until you have more experience.
