Should I?????

I am in the process of getting into RC gas powered planes.
I start my flying lessons in a few days and looking forward to it.
The club that I am apart of has an airfield that when it rains pretty good it is too muddy to get out and fly. I was thinking about getting a park flier for my back yard. I need some input about this, should I or shouldn't I????

I have heard of people learning on park flyers, it can be done, but dont fly in the wind!

Start your flying lessons. I' sure you'll enjoy the challange.

Nothing wrong in getting a Park flyer, but you'll find the challange in flying Glo and the selection of planes that are available to you more challenging. There are a great bunch of guys in this hobby that are always there to help.

Park flying is great if you don't have access to a field or club and for kids.

I got a couple of park flyers after I learned to fly glow models......A wattage Mini-max and an E-flite Electrajet. The mini max is a great plane, and easy to fly. The Electrajet can be a handful at times. If you do get a park flyer, get something that flys relatively slow, like the mini-max or a litestick. You'll be flying it around pretty well in no time. My 3 1/2 year old son will even fly the mini-max around once I get it up for him.

No not Zagi.

Hehe. Zagis rule. Nothing like a plane you can build @ the field.

Zagi.
The ultimate profile plane (2-dimensional, since it really has none)

I have put my zagi in at full speed (from waaaaay up inverted), hit it right on the nose. It sounded like a .38 pistol going off. CrrrrrraCKK! I had it flying again in 15 minutes. Now that's confidence inspiring. After the Zagi go ahead and get the Morris Knife with an Irvine .53 on it.
