pauluk2w ,
You are going to be best served by throwing the brush away.. Go get yourself some epoxy brushes, (Commonly known as flux brushes for soldering). They are cheap like less that a dime each, use 'em and toss 'em. I get them by the gross, and they will last me through several building seasons

I fell for the clean the brushes with denatured alcohol bit too. It doesn't work. Use acetone and it will clean the brushes very well. I use the soldering flux brushes and like spuck5644 I buy them by the gross from Micro Mark. I've had the current batch for about two yeas now and I'm a long way from using them all. Also for small batches of epoxy get some of the little plastic cups that the nurses use to bring you pills. Tower has them as does Micro Mark. I bought a gross of them at the same time I bought the flux brushes and still have plenty left.
After the left over epoxy dries you can usually pop it out of the little cups and reuse them. I think they must be made of the same material as the bottles of epoxy.
