I have the Evo trainer system,I took the flywheel off and replaced it with the the standard prop nut assembly, and I am using a 10 x 6 2 blade. It runs great and goes a bit faster.

not trying to get off topic... but when i try to put a two bladed spinner in my evo trainer system. the spinner bends because of the flywheel. do i need the flywheel? or are there any replacements?

back on topic.

I have used a 10x7 two bladed prop without a spinner and it gave it a kick the three bladed prop ever did.

I have an Xtra Easy 2 with the Evolution TPS. It is a great engine. I have replaced the 3 blade prop with a 10X6 two blade and removed the flywheel. I bought the replacement [link=http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/services/advanceresultsDetail.asp?display=pictures&strProd= &strSearchType=ALL&strInCategory=EPA&strInManufact urer=EVO&PageNum=6&strSortBy=ProdNumAsc]prop driver[/link] and put on a 2 1/2" spinner. The engine actually idels better now without the flywheel.

You may have to re-set the needles with the two bladeed prop. Also if you want more power remove the baffle from the muffler. Dennis

I heard if you remove the baffle you lose the pressure for the fuel tank. If i try to remove the baffle.. can i put it back in if it does lose pressure or once i take it out i wont be able to put it back in.

There will still be lots of pressure to your tank with the baffle removed. Yes you can put it back if you don't like the results with it off.

I think you ought to try an 11-5 or 11-6 prop unless you just like the sound of high rpm.

The Evo trainer engine is a .46 and has the same bore and stroke as the Magnum .46, if you check the specs, so it should pull these 2 props very well. The Evo .46 is a longer stroke engine and its displacement rounds off to a .47.

I had a Xtra easy 2 until a tree grabbed it now I put the evo into an avistar with baffle removed and a 10x6 on it and it is a great runner.
