Muffler & Engine Question for GP Texan

Got a couple questions about my Great Planes Texan:

1. Can someone send me a link on where to buy/order a, I think its called, sport scale muffler for a .46 size engine? Im not sure if thats the right name, but its the one that comes out of the engine and goes straight down out of two pipes. None of my local shops have any.

2. I have the .46 Thunder Tiger, but I found a MDS .68 for 50% off at a local shop. Is the .68 worth going to, or would I be happy with the .46?? I havent heard too many good things about MDS.

Any help would be appreciated!

The muffler you are looking for is called a pits muffler, thats my guess from the way you described it. as far as engine Im not familar with either.

Both Tower Hobbies and Horizon Hobby carry Pitts style mufflers. You should be able to find what your looking for from either one of them.:D
