just wondering if anyone has made or thought about making an electric pbf?

Its been done, Its just one of those applications where glow power is better...even the small .049- .061 is a little too small for pbf's but they will work if you want to go to the trouble...

If your going to power by electric, use fan fold foam instead. Much lighter and you can use a cheaper motor.

Fanfold is hard to get up here so I hotwired a 1/4 slice of pink foam, 18 ins. sq. 1/8 in. carbon fibre tube for a fuse boom. IPS twin for a motor. Burned out two of them so going to CD rom. motor. Flies just like the big one including the death spiral. :D

Fanfold electrics are just pure fun.

This one is outfitted with a GWS 350C - D - Slow flying, and when i get it finally set I think I can take it 3D

8 Cells 10X4.7 prop. All up about 15 ounces
