O.S. .46 AX and a Avistar problem

hello,

Well, I finally ordered the parts and they came, and I've started assembling the plane, im pretty much done, but I have hit a snag :( The engine mounts that came installed on the avistar dont matchup with my O.S. 46 AX engine. The back holes are way to back, trying to line the engine up causes it to hit the firewall, and so the only holes i can mount it on are the ones in the front. Is it ok if I just bolt itto the 2 front holes (left and right) or should i drill 2 holes in the back for the engine also, or?

Please help.. I've been waiting for so long and I really wanna fly :(

Thanks!

If you got the Avistar ARF, It comes with a universal motor
mount.. Atleast mine did.. it should have 4 screws and a
metal retainer.. which goes over you engine mount slide
your engine as need be then tighten down the screws..
(No bolts goes through you engine mounting holes, Just
the metal retainer)..

Line up engine with a slight right thrust.

Yeah, If your like most, You'll fine you always want to go
flying:-)..

rreiss is corect on adding right thrust to the engine, Tho some
say it not that important on a trainer... I added some to my
Avistar.. About 5/16" more towards the right side...
Have fun and be safe!!
