The smallest modern gas engines are MVVS. I think they have one around 1.60. There are old technology engines around .60. You can get them as new reproductions. They do not have a lot of power. If you are looking for say a 60 gasser that would fly a plane today I would say you are out of luck. Gasoline just does not work well in that small an engine. You are better off with a glow engine. Untill you get to 1.5 or bigger it is just not feasable. Good luck.

Yes. The smallest "production" gasoline engine that I've seen recently was a 26cc, which translates into 1.58 cubic inches.

As Mark said, they do make smaller "re-production" gas engines. Not sure where you'd find one though.

You can get a Norvel .049 with throttle, and they're a better running engine than he Cox. Cox use to be great, but they slipped a lot.

DB, I se ads for them in the magazines all the time. I think Davis is selling some. I also think Meccoa is selling some. I just for the life of me cannot remember who sells them. many are small operations. I pay little attention to them.
