MOD Questons for an Alpha 40

Im just looking for some mods for the alpha 40. I know about the tail drager one but I was wondering if there may be any others.

Thanks
Cole

Rip off that flywheel and go to an APC 11X5. I glued my tail down. And what tail dragger mod? Fill me in!

i have a Alfa trainer and the first thing i have done so far is put in a .68 engine(bought it brand new for $50), if you plan on keeping the same engine use a two bladed prop, and the things i have planned are;

install nylon bolts instead of using rubber bands
converting to tail dragger
taking out the dihedral in wing
change the covering to give it a better look

and if that all works out maybe i'll use a 6volt reciever battery for better servo response and turn it into a low wing plane and maybe round off some of the corners on the fuselage to get rid of that box look it has now.

This has photo's and explainations on conversion to a taildragger, and if you ask Britbrat, he can show how the fuselage can be changed with rounded corners.
Hope this helps.

This is Britbrats' fuse mod...
