ARF Horizontal Stab

1 Attachment(s)
Hi All -

I am building an ARF 540 Edge. The horizontal stab was not built perfectly flat (unintentionally). It's not twisted, but both of the out side edges "go up" from the center (see pic below). The "up" seems to be about equal on both the left and right sides. It's like it has about 1 degree of dihedral.

The covering has been removed from the center of the stab for mounting by the factory, so i don't think its a covering tension issue.

The plane is intended for aerobatics/3d, so I assume it should be as true as possible.

Any ideas how to flatten it out? Or is it even worth bothering?

It's not worth bothering with. If one side went up while the other didn't, it might be an issue, but that small amount I still wouldn't lose sleep over.

Go with it as is, you won't have any problem with it.

I agree. Leave it as is and i doubt you'll even notice.
