How much time between flying sessions?
 

How long do you go without flying? I'm new to the hobby so for me, it's like a new girlfriend. I've gotta *fly* often! How much time elapses between your flights?

I can fly once a week, as my job only permits. It really sucks when it rains the whole time that that once a week comes around!!!!Q[>:] I need some of this [sm=sunsmiley.gif] next weekend!!!

I fly before and after work every day the wind is less than 25mph and it's not raining! Gallon to gallon and a half a week. Can't get enough.......when the snow starts to fly it's really going to bite!

I checked off 2 - 4 times per week because I try to get to one club's field every Sunday, and the other club field every Thursday evening. If my wife has stuff to do I also try to get to that first club field on Saturday.

But being where I am, and the nature of the fields precludes flying once the snow hits. (Neither field is accesible when there's snow on the ground.)

My brother and I just joined a third club that Is open after it snows, so we'll see. :D

Over the past 5 years I have logged 4 flights a week on average.

I fly every week, usually on Sat. & Sun. I try to make it out at least once during the week but believe it or not, the price of gas in my vehicle is starting to be felt. This time of the year the sod farm I fly locally is being re-seeded so the club fields are about the only place I can fly and they are a significant drive. I think this weekend I logged ofver 200 miles to & from the field.

As long as the wind's reasonable, and I have fuel.. 3-4+ days/wk.
with at least 4+ flight's/visit...

That's cool DB. I wish we had more than one place to fly here. We're in a smaller size community and our flying field is wonderful, but it's at the lake down a VERY dirt road, so on days like today when the sun's shining, you can't get down the road because of the 4 inches of rain we've had over the last two days :(

well twas a bad day last feb. when i crashed not just one of my friends planes, but two. so as if in denial about the already obvious fact that the day just wasnt going worth a snot i took off with and you guessed it crashed my own plane totaled three in one day and that was the last time i flew. oh sure i have another plane, been ready for well over a year, but that crash ate my carb up and at first i was just too pi$$ed to think about it then as time went on i just forgot about it but now i have a replacement carb and should be ready any day now :)

Time between flights? Weather permitting, roughly equal as time between repairs. :D Seriously, I seem to always fly my plane in back to back flights (with a bit of checking in between) until something happens that ends the day's flying. I guess I'm trying to push the envelop a bit.
