engine swap ?
 

I want to swap out my OS LA40 , thats in my PT40 Trainer.
I want a little bit more speed, any suggestions on a good
engine ?

The OS 46 AX should bolt right in. The mount pattern should be close. Another choice would be the TT 46 pro. I believe they also have the same or very close mount pattern. And lastly I believe that the Magnum series would about bolt in. Any of these would be a good choice.

As a side, if you are not concerned about a direct fit replacement I would reccomend the following:

Enya 50 SS, Irvine 45 and 53, Super Tiger GS 45 and 51, Magnum 52 XLS, and MVVS 49. Any of the above would do well in your plane.

OS 52 Four Stroke would fit too. Or you could use a 50sx. Or a 46la.....

I might be over doing it.I hear from reading

I think I will go with the TT 46 pro.
I most likely have to heat shields
under the fuse and wings.
