Put up the pics and we will see what we can do. Thats what we are all here for.

Another thing you could do is find the nearest club and get with some local guys and get help. It will be the best way to get up to speed on what you have and how to set it up and fly it.

Good luck.

When you're replying to a post (or starting a new topic, or just posting period), there is a link below the text box that says "Click here to upload". You click that link, then browse to the picture file you wish to upload (keep in mind the size restrictions that are displayed on that page). That's all there is to it.

nevor mind, well the blue plane is the bigger one and the red one has a motor

RE: HELP ME OUT PLEASE

Well the red one looks like a trainer of some sort-Possible Sig? The other looks like an older pattern type. Fly the red one first!!

I bet someone will have told you this already but if you are going to fly either of those planes i would advise you to look for a club and get proper instruction and also join the AMA.
good luck with the planes

I believe both of them are Sig kits....the red one being a Kadet Jr. and the blue one a Kobra. Do you have any profile shots?

Just a fancy word for side view. If you had some side view pics and maybe some wingspan dimensions Im sure someone here will nail them down for you.

BTW, the red one looks a little big for the Kadet Jr. plus it has ailerons. Im thinking now maybe it is a Kadet Mark I or II.

New, to heck with the planes!!!! I was eyeing up the sprint car in the pic!!!!! Dirt track racing is big where I live!
BTW, I'd prolly re-cover that red one you got.

RE: HELP ME OUT PLEASE

The blue one looks like a King Cobra or a Cougar. The King is the bigger version of the two. It should have about a 60" wing span. If that Lazboy is 36" wide that's about right.

Goto http://www.sigmfg.com/cgi-bin/dpsmar...FV4.html?E+Sig and click on Airplanes at the top left. Next, click on Sig R/C BIY Airplane kits and they will be in that category. Youll find all your specs in there.

Don't forget that the blue one doesn't have an elevator. You might want to correct that problem. <grin>

daveopam 11-21-2004 11:20 AM

RE: HELP ME OUT PLEASE

Get a radio and engine for the trainer first. Hang the King Cobra up for about a year. You might be able to handle it by then. Flying models is a lot harder than it looks. Try a R/C simulator some time. Every time you crash on it that's several hours of work and several dollars of new parts on a real model.
