Servo Wire

Trying to figure out how to run the servo wire
over to the center of the wing.
The vertical slot is for the wing brace.
The horizontal slot is where the push rod
comes out for the retracts. There is a
string coming out where the aileron servo goes, on
both wings.
Is the string to run the wires through the wing ?
The string's arn't long enough.
Do I run the wires through the horizontal slots
and come up through the retract servo on top
of the wing ?

Hi Radcon, I haven't seen this before but it might help if you tell us which plane you have. Its probable that some other flyers that read this may have the same plane and solved the problem and can provide you an answer. [8D]

Under the covering on the top of teh wing is a hole. It would be inside the fuselage whne the wing is installed. Cut the covering away and you'll find the other end of the string.

Hi " DragonHeart:
I got the Dago Red because I wanted to get it together
before summer arrives, plus I had the money saved for it.
I do have a Hobbytown Trainer and I think it's close to a
Superstar or is.Has a OS40la. Plane came assemble.
I did have to use a couple of tools to complete it.
I flew it all last summer and I have a great instructor.
The Dago is my second plane, and my first AFT attempt.
I wanted the plane so much, can you blame me.
I ain't going to take it up until my instructor checks
me out on my GB Tiger 60 Deluxe. That will be my
second plane to train on. Maybe I want be able to get
my Dago up this summer, its all up to Tony my instructor.
But at least I got my Dago in the hanger.
Thanks for your concern and please help....

A flying buddy has a WM Dago at our field. I strongly suggest you do not attempt to fly this as a second plane!! It takes good tail dragger experience just to get the into the air safely. Once up there the plane is a pretty quick flyer and can bite you in a hurry if you make a wrong stick movment. Ie. touching the rudder stick while turning with ailerons will instantly put the plane in a spin! Hopefully the TIger 60 is set up as a tail dragger to at least get you a bit prepared. For learning how to land the Dago, learn to land the Tiger at higher speeds. It will float in, but you want to learn how to keep the speed up. The Dago will stall if you slow it down too much for landing. [8D]

Fastsky:
GB Tiger60 Deluxe is a Trike,with retracts.
Someone on RCU said a trike is harder to
land than a taildragger.
My instructor is an awesome flier, I would
think, to him this Dago would be like a trainer.
So what's Supppp....
Everyone saids the Tger 60 is a good second
plane.Here's my problem ' I don't want to spend
money on a plane that I don't like the looks of.
There isn't much out there that I like, unless
they are Aerobatic. Any suggestions for a taildraggrer
as a second plane ?
How about the Hangar 9 Aresti ,I like the looks ...

HI Radcom,

Im glad to see it isnt your first plane althou Fast Sky is right the Dago should be more like a 3rd or 4th at least :)

I completely understand you wanting it i was like that with my Warbirds :).......... just take your instructers advice he will be the best judge to see if u are ready for this:D

My second was a tail dragger ;) to get me ready for my warbirds...... belive me you need experience with tip stalls, high speed landings etc as the Trainers are soooooo easy to fly...... my second plane was a Great Planes Super Sportster :) lovely looking plane and ive still got her...... very fast in the air with the right motor and of course a tail dragger.......

Good luck (this is a dam addictive hobby, as youve probably guessed by now)
