Ive also been applying spackle since glazing the wing with brushing lacquer, ive applied some primer so i could see my problem areas, but im still having problems, there has got to be a better way, should i cover the whole damn thing in spackle, then sand it all back down, its such a nightmare for me.

Are you referring to reinforcing the center section of a wing with fiberglass?

Anything you put on the balsa and then sand will screw you up. They sand at different rates. I use a metal sander now, (great planes) and it works well, but don't sand too much. You will make a mess. You will never get it absolutely perfect. Just get it close and cover it. Noone will ever see the imperfections. If they dip, they will not show under the monokote. If they stick up, sand them off so they don't or they will be seen.

It's a giant scale plane guys,so i glassed the entire plane, then planned on priming and painting, although im having second thoughts.
