I'm building one now and there are several others under construction in the Kit Building forum. If you can read and follow directions, use an exacto knife and not CA yourself to the table, you should have no problems with the SE. It's a great kit.

And now that I see you've built a Tiger 2, I'm quite sure you will have no problems. The T2 in my avatar was my first kit as well.

Like krossk says, there are several, no a lot of threads on RCU about the Sometin Extra. Just do a search and you will find them. The SE is one of the more popular kits out there. It was my first kit, and I recommend it for its easy build, and the instruction manual will provide you with instructions that you can use on other kits as you progress. I have included a link to the thread on my SE. Do not be put off by the length of time it took me to build it. I didn't always have the SE on my building schedule. It took a back burner to other projects that came along during the build. Good luck and have fun.

Sean,

I've done 2 of them, one nitro and one electric. Very easy kit to do and flys super. Nice and gentle on the book low rates but go to the book high rates and the roll rate is just a blur.
