how do I use a 4 ch TX with 5 servos?

I've just about outgrown my 4 channel plane and am considering one of the models that call for a 4 channel transmitter and 5 servos. How do I get the fourth channel to "split" itsself and control two aileron servos?

5 Servos

Two ways: Either a Y-harness or plugging into receiver slots "1" and "6" with servo wire extensions (assuming you have a 7-channel receiver). I also hear that the Rx 7th channel mirror's that of Channel 1 but don't quote me on that - I haven't tried it for myself yet.

Most receivers are seven channel. 1 & 6 are for ailerons if your using separate servos. I usually use ch5 for retracts. What is the transmitter you are using.

The typical way is to use a "Y" cable to control each of the aileron servos. I two have heard of a ghost signal on channel 7 that mirrors channel 1. I would recommend the "Y" cable.

Ditto to the above> Chances are the wing has a servo for each aileron, therefore the 5 needed. Probably will need some servo extensions to connect each wing servo to the Y harness and then it just plugs into your aileron channel on the Tx

If the distance is more than 12" you should have a noise filter in the extensions.
