RE: smoke for a trainer
I don't think there's very many trainers with the room capacity in the fuse for smoke. There is a great thread on here for smoke, I'll have to beg your pardon and ask Minnflyer to post it for you that explains how to setup a smoke system. I too have been looking to setup smoke in an airplane of my own. Haven't done it yet, waiting on a Goldberg Ultimate to be built, that one's getting smoke!!!

RE: smoke for a trainer
Pretty impractical with small glow engines to get a meaningful smoke trail but here is an effective method.

RE: smoke for a trainer
True, small 2-strokes are not known for making good smoke.
Here's an article that tells the whole story (Or, most of it anyway) http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=455 |
RE: smoke for a trainer
how would you light the smoke bomb type thing? Or do you just do it on the ground

RE: smoke for a trainer
You could do it on the ground, or use an electronic model rocket igniter (do a google search for Estes Rockets)
