Please Help me (Survey)
Hi,
I have started my course work for my Design and Technology GCSE, one of my objectives is to gather information, via a Survey or Questionnaire. Please visit this link, see what my project is, and please take the time to fill out the survey. I would really appreciate it, and im trying to get as many results as possible. http://www.rc-expertise.com/index.ph...unc=view&sid=3 (The project is aircraft related!) Thanks Volkan. (Comments on the project are welcomed) |
RE: Please Help me (Survey)
"Questions marked with "*" are required"........ They're all marked with a "*"!
Seriously, sounds like a good idea, but there's no way I'm poking another hole in a fuel tank or stopper to run a sensor wire thru..... And glo fuel seems to make the grass at my field thrive.... Andy |
RE: Please Help me (Survey)
just take out the third line and use the hole left behind to put the sensor through. You could be on to something here, I been wondering bout something like this for years, for scale models and the like.

Interesting topic. Keep us posted as to what you come up with.

Hi,
Well this is what im thinking of, to minimise arching, i will not have any cabling in the tank. See the diagram: The red dots are where the sensors will be poked through there, and coved by silicon sealer and hot glue! |
RE: Please Help me (Survey)
Not interested in knowing when its full, but a buzzer that you could hear in the air or strobe to let you know the fuel is nearly empty would be a help with some models.

RE: Please Help me (Survey)
I dont care if i run out of gas when it's near me, But when it is far away it would be nice to know when to start bringin her back

I see your points, but
wirless telemtry would not be suitable for a GCSE project, A-Leval project maybe. Thanks for the idea about a strobe!, That will be easy to add! Also, another advantage is that you can just plug a cable from your plane to your panel, and it will tell you how much fuel is in there! |
