I use Kevlar the coated type it does not stretch and it won't cause radio interference like steal can.

I use braided steel fish line (leader) that is plastic covered. I have never experienced radio interference using it. I have a Jenny that all the controls are pull/pull even the ailerons, very scale like, and it has a lot of steel cable both inside and out.

Like Bingo above, I use nylon coated braided steel fishing line and have never had a problem with interferance. So far on 5 1/4 scale jobs and several smaller models.

You can use Bingo Flyer and Rodney's system. I think a better alternative is to use the purposely built pull-pull kits made by Dubro or Sullivan. These kits will come in a 2-56 or 4-40 size, your choice. Also, all of the components/hardware are provided in these kit. They are worth the extra $$.
