RE: first plane?
As far as those to planes are concerned they are not much better then the junk sold at ToysR Us.
If your looking for decent equipment check out the GWS Line of models also go to hobby lobby's web site the specialize in electrics and make getting a package with everything needed pretty simple. |
RE: first plane?

RE: first plane?
If you just want something to goof around with then anything will do. If you are serious about learning how to fly then go with what Sooner suggested and find an RC club. [8D]

RE: first plane?
Depends on how serious you are, and how much you're willing to invest.
For about $500 you can get set up with a glow trainer, field equipment to start and run the engine, and AMA and club memberships. (You need both and will want to find an instructor. They're free. ;) ) Or buy one of the Aerobirds, go to a la-arge park and give it a go. Of course if you really enjoy it you'll be buying the glow trainer and looking for a club before long anyway. :D Good luck Dennis- |
