a problem.....
 

well ive hit a bit of a wall. I have a seniorita nearly done, but then i received another plane for free. it was finished so i went ahead and equiped it. problem is it uses a .46 TTpro, and im pretty shure thats going to be to much motor for my seniorita.....

now the real issue that comes up is this, i cant go any farther on my seniorita without a motor, and funds are running a little low(i cant afford another motor with the expense of getting a plane flying.....im shure yall remember all the little expensesthat stack up when you first start). is there a motor mount that i could bolt to my seniorita that would let me install the firewall no and install it later? or would be universal to a motor that would fit this plane? or should i just put it on the back burner till winter?

You might want to consider a Great Planes adjustable motor mount, they work pretty good. You can adjust the width of the mount without changing the bolt patern on the fire wall. Just figure out what size engine you want to install and find the dimensions online, you can use the dimensions as a midpoint. Once you get the engine, you can adjust the mount to fit. Hope this helps.

I agree on the GP adjustable mount.
Place the blind nuts so that the motor mount is using it's maximum width with the TT46 fitted.
Then you'll have room to "shrink the mount for a future, smaller engine, as well as using a standard .40 case.

that sounds like a good plan ^^....actualy thats exactly the kind of answers i was looking for

im also going to start working on a modified fuselage.....i got a goofy idea about using the kadet wing in a low-wing configuration(ive seen two different ones, both with GREAT reviews on how they fly). hopefuly ill be able to build it were i can use the same wing in both....

Grate Planes makes two mounts that will fit a .46. You want to go to the smallest one, if you are going to install a smaller engine later. The mount number for Tower is LXJ771 and it will take a .20 to .48. I use this one in my smaller 46 planes because it is lighter weight than the one that fits .40 to .70.
