prop balancer
i just got a new (used) top flight magnetic prop balancer. what a neet toy!! but no instructions on how to balance the prop.i have a black (composite) master airscrew 11x7 on there and yes, the heavy end fell to the bottom. now what? sand on the back side? front side? add weight? what do i do to a wooden prop? any info would be helpful!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

bigyellowbird... I tape and spray paint the tips and just add more
paint to the light side... Sometimes it takes me a few tries to get it balanced... But I'm getting better at it now:-) Plus you'll see the tip better when the engine is running.... |

I would not recommend sanding. Sanding could POSSIBLY weaken the blade.
You are safe by adding paint or clear coat to the light blade. |
