Beginner's Park Flyer

Hi
I am looking for a good park flyer that is kinda easy to fly but also can do some aerobatics so i don't get bored with it. I was looking at the Hobby-Lobby Sortakhoi ARTF SU-27 RC Jet and i was wondering if anyone has tried it or if there is a better beginner plane that can eventually do some aerobatics. Thanks.

I can't help with a recommendation on the plane, but are there any local hobby shops or clubs in the area? Sounds like you are taking this on by yourself. Although it can be done, it isn't the preferred method. Try to get help in some form_bob

Hmmm

Its not a first plane, but the Mountain Models Switchback is highly recommended.

It can be built with 2 wings, one for sport one for aerobatics.

If you have no experience, you're probably not going to be able to handle a plane that does what you think you want.

Beginner's Park Flyer

In the park flyer world its tougher, I think, to find a plane that does it all. A good beginner plane is slow and forgiving. That means light and that means not stressed for aerobatics.

Planes are inexpensive and it is twice as much fun to have two (or more :-D ) anyway. Pick the plane you'ld like to head towards then find a trainer that uses the same batteries and power system.

With an electric, your "engine", and cost, is the batteries, not the motor. If you can run the same batteries in several planes it's much more affordable. If you can move the speed control and other equipment up too thats a bonus.

Buy a Zagi. It's a blast to fly and when you dive it into the ground at full speed, all you have to do is find the battery and fly it again.
