What is the difference?
 
am lloking at buying the F4u corsair, from great planes, and adding a ruder, .

My friend has this one, from alfa models.

He says that they are probaby the same planes, just made in diiferent places. What do you think?

One has 188 sq in of wing area and the other has 224. It could be the same airplane, and one company calculated the wing area including the area under the fuselage.

They do seem very similar, if not identical.

Why do you want rudder. Weight is so important on these small models. I would skip the rudder and try to stay as light as possible.

i agree with him btw. rudder is kinda pointless on something tiny like this.....

banking creates adverse yaw, slowing a turn, and not letting an airplane turn. I am also going to but a steerable tail wheel on it.

Without the rudder your cutting out more than half the aerobatics the plane is capable of. No snaprolls, spins, stall turns, etc. I have a GWS Zero and a friend has the corsair that will do all of these things.
