Best Scale Trainer for 91 4stroke
 

Please i would appreciate very much if you are able to give me your opinion
Which do you think that is the BEST SCALE TRAINER for 91 4STROKE?
I don't care if this is Kit or ARF.
I will be very happy to have your repies.

What do you mean by trainer? Do you want a high wing, large dihedral, a low wing sport, or war bird? What experience do you have?

I did a quick search and there doesn't seem to be any pure trainers designed for a .91 4-stroke. In my opinon best bet would be a Sig Cadet Senior its supposed to take a smaller motor than your .91 but at 80" it is a big bird. You could always use a three bladed prop, which would let the prop clear the ground and give the oversized motor a little less power. If this is to be your very first plane, I would probabily pick the Cadet Sr. ARF, it's a little pricey but shouldn't take up your whole wad. Sig's ARF's are very nice and the ARF has many improvements over the kit ( a cowl, two piece wing and aelrions.)

If you already know how to fly and a looking for a plane to get you into scale modeling then your choices are legion. There are many kits and arfs of big tailorcrafts, Piper Cubs, Citabria's, Super Decathlon's that all make easy flying planes but don't quite qualify as a trainer.

I would rule out the Kadet sr. with a 91 FS and it's light weight it is not a good trainer, I know because I have flown that combination and it's a screamer.........
I think the Sr. Telemaster or the Bob Tharp Flying King might be better choices, the Telemaster is well behaved with a 91 FS and the Flying King is large enough from apperances to be up to the task.
Better yet do the Sr. Kadet with a new Magnum 46XLS that is on sale this weekend for $49.95.

If, by the term "Scale Trainer" you mean a plane that will be a good bridge between a Trainer and a Scale plane, I would go with the Goldberg Tiger 60.

It's ideal with a 91 4-stroke
