engine selection
Iīm finishing a sig kavalier kit. which I modified to have a straight wing ( no dihedral). The engine I chose ( donīt have yet) for the plane is a TT .46 pro , although I own a super tigre .40 that runs great on my old trainer. Is there a noticeable difference of power between the two engines? Any sugestions, save the bucks, or buy new engine?

There's another advantage that hasn't been mentioned. If you don't have much experience, you'll probably be pretty nervous your first few flights with the new plane. You know the engine you have now, and you're probably pretty comfortable with it. That's one less thing to worry about.
If you decide you'd like more power, you can always put a different engine on it later. |
