Is this anygood>?

http://www.raidentech.com/3rcairarcogl.html

I want something that is under $100 and that I can slowly upgrade over time. Also want it to fly out of the box. I've seen quite a few of deals like these around the internet, are any of them worth the money?

Let me just say this. I have spend money on some of the cheap planes on the net and have found most of them not to be what thay say thay are. i dont know about this one but most are just something to get your money. After i spent two are three hundred dollers on cheap planes i just saved my money and got a real trainer and have been flying every weekend now for over a year. and have 6 planes now and i am glad i saved my money and got a real plane are i mite have gave up on the hobbie. I got one thing at a time until i had every thing i needed to get one in the air. I got a good trainer plane first it was 100.00 and then i got a good used engine from a guy at the flying club 40.00 and then i found a good used futaba radio just a 4 channel 80.00 with rec and servos. then i got the little things like a glow starter and fuel. found a good used starter on RCU 20.00 shiped and i was ready to go. Got with the guy at the club that was going to traine me and we set up the plane and he put it in the air then i got on the buddy box and have not stop flying yet. This is what i did but i have some real good patients

Unfourtuneatly im a student so If i were to buy a trainer now it wont be until mid-september that i would be able to get anything else. Then it wont be till january before i would get anything else and so on. I give myself about $200 a quarter for play money the rest gets eaten by rent , utilities, food and school supplies...

This is a glider which means it will fly slowly and not be very acrobatic.
Their purpose is to see how long they can glide.
I tried learning in this situation using a Soarstar. It wasn't the thrill I was looking for so I switched to fuel.
I am a lot happier in this realm.
If you need to save money get with the local club and see when they are having a swap meet.
You can often find good deals there - however you will probably not get it all in one package.
Hopefully someone will take you under there wing and try and keep you out of trouble.
Good Luck,

hi i got a great deal on ebay here in the uk!!i payed £150 for a trainer and engine plus radio etc it was still in the box un built and engine un run.it was an easy build as it was an artf kit.there are bargains out there if you look hard enough!.good luck.also take a look on the pay it forward threads you might get something on there.if you ask nice its surprising what people will give you!!but remember you need to pay it forward in the future when you are in a position to help someone out!!.how about you buy a plane and see if anyone can help with the rest?.

dont waist your money on somthin like that. all those i have seen have only just enough power to bareley fly the thing . you will have to upgrade to brushless motor and lipoly bateries to enjoy it. go to www.cedarhobbies.net and look at the trainer called a victory .40 it looks like a good little arf for the beginer. i just bought an o.s. max .40 fp on ebay for $20.50 and costs 6 bucks to ship it. i also got a jr quattro with all the servos and batteries for $ 56.00 on ebay. and called about the victory .40 a couple months ago and they told me $74.00 shipped

you can find good deals if you look for them
