Great 2nd Plane
1 Attachment(s)
Yesterday I finally took out my Tiger 2 for the first time, first flight I was on a buddy box, after that I was on my own. It was a really nice plane to fly, great for a second ( my second). Before this I flew a LT-40. What a difference. The tiger is not a floater so be expected to come in quik. By the 2nd flight i was doing loops and rolls easily, then immelmans. It does them easily. Knife edges dont work out to well, not a big enough rudder. If you are just coming off a trainer, this is a good choice.

RE: Great 2nd Plane
take your tiger 2 and make it into a tail dragger like I did, I love my tiger 2 I have the OS 46 ax. but mine float's in. I fly that more than my spitfire!
good luck and good flying |
RE: Great 2nd Plane
I dont really want a tail dragger yet, probably a third plane tho, I love trike gear.

RE: Great 2nd Plane
Great news! Try an 11x6 and it will slow down and improve aerobatic capabilities... It will also rotate (take-off) quicker and have more vertical performance.

Freek,
The B-25 Mitchell bomber and the P-38 Lightning are my favorite tri-cycle gear airplanes! "Keep 'Em Flying!" Flak |
RE: Great 2nd Plane
I'll eventually try an 11x6, but for now i just want to get used to it before i play around too much.
Flak, I agree 100% with the B-25 and P-38, a nice B-25 is in Model Airplane News, Sept. Issue for topgun |
