hi im planning to buy another transmitter off e-bay from america and it is a 75.5 mhz transmitter and my one is a 35mhz transmitter would they be compaterble fore buddy lead use, and are 75.5mhz iligale in england?? (please repley asap)

Here in the UK you can only use 35Mhz and 27Mhz for planes and helis.

The frequency of a buddy box does not matter. The crystal should be removed so this amounts to not having a frequency, legal or otherwise.

If it has a module you could probably replace it with a UK legal one.

the answer is module not crystal only modules can be changed since they are pre tuned radio output stages. the crystal could not change a radio so far out of tune to change from 75 to 35

I would think with shipping, it would be cheaper to find a buddy box or an older used transmitter on your side of the pond??
