Question regarding Cessna182.

Would a Parkflyers Cessna182 4 Channel be ideal for someone who has some experience flying sailplanes?? my father and i have been flying sailplanes for a few years and i think it's time for me to move on to bigger and better things. The parkflyers plane has caught my eye and wanted to ask help from fellow board members. My heart isn't set on the Cessna and i know it's not one of the other recommended beginner airplanes but for those that do have this plane i wanted to ask if it was difficult to fly and if it accepts minor crashes well.

Thanks.

RE: Question regarding Cessna182.

It is hard to say. A lot will depend on your flying skills. The parkflyers respond a lot quicker than a sailplane and fly much lower to the ground.

I suggest seeing if you can get a "Buddy Box" flight with someone who has this plane or a beginner/intermediate aerobatic plane. If you can handle either one, you should have no problems with the Cessna, otherwise something else would probably be a better choice.

RE: Question regarding Cessna182.

My Cessna accepted landing in a tree with no damage. But another time I had RX glitch and the wing broke in 3 pieces. It not a hard plane to fly as i flew it just fine for my first plane. Though it's not the easiest plane out there on the market either.
