Evader ST - Problem with Radio! Help :)

Hi All,

I have an Edaver Stadium Truck which is only a few days old. The truck was working fantastic until today when I started using it and all of a sudden the car appeared to loose radio contact and stopped.

I went up to the car and help the controller antenna close to the cars antenna and it responded again. As soon as I moved away a little bit, no response.

Now, strangely enough this only seems to happen after about 5 - 10 minutes of usage, then BOOM no radio contact and my car won't move.

The only thing I've done since I've had the car is tightended the diffiential as per the books instruction. Has this caused anything to do with my problem?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Josh

What do you do after ten minutes? Do you charge it and then everything is fine? If so, my bet is that one or more cells in your TX battery is not coming up to snuff. Replace the TX battery pack.

If on the other hand all you do is turn everything off for a bit and then turn it on and everything works again, my bet would be a bad final output transistor in the TX. Sometimes a bad one gets through. They get hot and then they quit working.

I'd box it up and send it back to the manufacturer for a looksee if I were you.

The other possibility is that your TX has a bad final output transister
