Regarding pushrods, receivers and other odds and ends

I'm working on getting my second plane up in the air that I recently obtained from an auction. It will require me putting in a receiver and a battery pack. I also acquired a few other planes that will need more help than that.

The question I have is there any resource on the net that helps with installing receivers, pushrods, receivers and so on? I haven't found the info here although it might be around. I don't imagine it will be too challenging for myself but I just need some insight getting started.

Thanks,

Brad

Brad,

Can you tell us what plane(s) they are. We might just be able to come up with the manuals to go with them which might just answer most of your questions.

Ditto with what Bubbagates said. It's hard to believe that the plane didn't come with the instructions for putting all of those items in the plane. Most planes that are the traditional "second planes" have instructions that are very detailed and easy to follow. These instructions are one of the reasons why such planes are so popular as second planes.

As said above, it will be easy for us to help you if you let us know what kind of plane you are talking about.

Sorry guys,

It was bought a local auction, the whole plane used "as is" and it is a Lanier Stinger. I'll take a look at the site to get myself started.

Go to Lanier's website. They have the manuals for all of the Stingers available for download. That way you can get the manual for the plane you have

Hope this helps

mount the servos first... then add the radio equiptment to balance out the CG on the plane :-D beats adding dead weight

Or you could just look through some of the reviews right here at RCU's Magazine. They show many different battery and Rx installations and you can go with whatever works for you
