Skyward 40

Hi I am new to the forum, I have a Skyward 40 aircraft or should say HAD a Skyward 40 aircraft. It had one successful flight with one successful landing, then a semi-successful flight with a less then successful landing into a fence post.

The problem I am now faced with is that the aircraft was bought used and assembled but never flown. Therefore I don't have any of the instructions or blueprints. I have exhausted myself looking on the internet and have come to the conclussion that it is no longer in production or supported! If anyone knows where I can aquire blueprints or plans it would be of great help in the rebuilding process.

thank-you!

Skyward 40 -- now there's a ghost of Xmas past! [8D] Hopefully it has the Skyward motor -- it's a reasonably good trainer engine -- lots of power.

It would be much easier for you to contact a new flying friend at a nearby club who will be able to guide you -- it's a pretty simple model. I doubt if there are any skyward 40 plans to be had -- but who knows ;)

That was dumb, I quoted instead of "edited".

RE: Skyward 40

thanks for the advice, I do have a couple friends who can help me out. As for the engine it is a Webra 6.5ccm, the Tx is a Airtronics Vangaurd vg4r, and the Rx is a Airtronics dual conversion narrow band. But it all works good so I have decided to rebuild it, plus I could use the experience of fabricating new parts.
