Sorry to hear that you broke your Christmas present & got your girlfriend mad at ya, but did she think we are just born with the ability to fly or what? I have no idea what kind of plane we're talking about here other than it is apparently made of foam, so you'll just need to get some foam-safe CA to glue it with and some activater. Good luck, & Merry Christmas to you & yours!!

Daniel, seasons greetings to you . Now you stated above and i quote" IF i really wanted to get into this thing" I detect a certain amount of doubt there. To get involved in this wonderful hobbie, you have to be CERTAIN you want to fly models, otherwise you are throwing good money away. I suggest you find your local club and pay them a visit , see what they are flying , speak to their instructors, and get information from them what would be a suitable trainer that they would be willing to teach you to fly, be it electric of combustion engine powered. This is a wonderful hobbie as thousands around the world will tell you , but it does require some dedication on your part to succeed. No matter what type of model you have, there is NO substitute for a flying instructor, so repair your model and checkout your local club, learn how to fly , and i wish you many years of enjoyment in this wonderful hobbie .

Yep. Some people thinks they are ready to fly without any experience. You can drive a RC car without experience, but not a plane. Without an instructor you will crash your plane again... and again...

Sorry about the damage to your Christmas present.
Man was not born knowing how to run or fly. It simply takes a little practice and a few mistakes. Learning to fly will be easier with guidance from an experienced pilot. Your other left will often be a problem even for experienced fliers. Bill |

Find a local club and practice...

Without an instructor you will crash your plane again... and again... Flying is actually the easy part. Picking the right electronics, engines and setting the CG, trim correctly is the hard part. |

Get a legitimate High wing Trainer, such as an SIG MFG Kadet LT 40. Find a Local flying club. Get an instructor pilot to assist you in some buddy box flights to see if your really "into" it. Build the Plane, Learn to fly with an instructor. Have a blast and welcome to the addiction.
