RE: Engine CC vs .## (Help)
I have a kind of a shedule, from a magazine:
.10 = 1.76 cm³ .11 = 1.79 cm³ .15 = 2.48 cm³ .21 = 3.50 cm³ .25 = 4.07 cm³ .34 = 5.50 cm³ .40 = 6.46 cm³ .45 = 7.50 cm³ .51 = 8.30 cm³ .61 = 9.95 cm³ .75 = 12.21 cm³ .90 = 14.73 cm³ And does someone has/had experience with an ASP engine? |

Here is another way to convert cubic inches to cubic centimeters: Go to www.google.com and type:
convert 0.61 cu in to cc The answer comes back as: 0.61 (cu in) = 9.99610904 cc |
RE: Engine CC vs .## (Help)
What you need is this little program from http://joshmadison.net/software/convert/
This will let you convert just about anything to anything else. For instance, want to know how many inches in a light year? Or how many UK gallons to a US gallon? It doesn't convert shoe sizes though. |
RE: Engine CC vs .## (Help)
Google? A partial list of dimentional conversions? Why not just tell the guy to multiply cubic inches by 16.387 to get cubic centimeters for ANY volume? It ain't rocket science, people. :D

RE: Engine CC vs .## (Help)
A conversion taught in school and worth remembering the rest of your life is 1 inch equals 25.4 milimeters(2.54 centimeters), exactly. With this you can convert any linear dimension, such as miles to kilometers, feet to meters, cubic inches to cubic centimeters. The conversion Dr1Drive gave, 16.387, is arrived at by muliplying 2.54 X 2.54 X 2.54 to give the number of cubic centimeters in a cubic inch.

Villa, I gave him exactly what he was looking for - a conversion factor from cubic centimeters to cubic inches. He wasn't interested in linear conversions.
